I want to create a series of paintings “How life feels” that express the mood of escaping reality and finding those very back doors. Abstraction helps with this, both mental and visual.
To interpret paintings correctly is to identify the loopholes. These are hidden passages that, once traversed, reveal that there are no random lines on the map, only pieces of a puzzle that come together to form a grand picture.
